TRADE FAIR COMMITTEE TOURS TRADE FAIR GROUND TO ASSESS LEVEL OF PREPARATION FOR THE 46TH KANO INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR

The Trade Fair Committee has conducted an on-site inspection of the Kano Trade Fair Complex, Zoo Road, Kano, to assess the level of preparation ahead of the 46th Kano International Trade Fair, organized by the Kano Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KACCIMA).

The visit, held today Thursday 6th November, 2025, was part of the committee’s ongoing efforts to ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place for the successful hosting of the fair, scheduled to hold from Saturday, 22nd November to Saturday, 6th December 2025, at the Kano Trade Fair Complex.

During the tour, Committee members inspected key facilities including exhibition pavilions, access roads, utilities, and security infrastructure within the fairground. The visit also provided an opportunity to engage Contractors and stake holders involved in the preparation process.

Speaking during the inspection, the Chairman of the Trade Fair Committee, Umar Ismail Haruna, expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far. He stated:

“We are impressed by the level of Commitment demonstrated by all stakeholders involved in preparing for this year’s Trade Fair. Our goal is to deliver a World-class event that not only promotes Trade and Investment but also highlights Kano’s pivotal role as a leading Commercial hub in Nigeria and West Africa. We are confident that the 46th edition will surpass expectations and create new Opportunities for Businesses and Investors alike.”

Also speaking, the President of KACCIMA, Amb. Usman Hassan Darma, reaffirmed the Chamber’s commitment to maintaining high standards of excellence in organizing the annual event. He said:

“The Kano International Trade Fair has, over the years, served as a vital platform for fostering business relationships, Promoting Industrial growth, and enhancing Economic cooperation. This year’s edition will build on that legacy by providing a unique space for Local and International Exhibitors to showcase Innovations and explore new market opportunities.”

The 46th Kano International Trade Fair is expected to attract a wide range of participants, including Entrepreneurs, Government Agencies, Investors, and Representatives from various sectors of the Economy. The event aims to strengthen Business linkages and showcase the vast economic Potential of Kano State and Nigeria as a whole.

The Committee reaffirmed its readiness to deliver a successful, inclusive, and impactful Trade Fair that will contribute significantly to the development of Commerce and Industry in the Region.
